We Appreciate You™

We Appreciate You™ was an internal-facing employer brand and hiring support initiative designed to help Wendy’s locations compete in tight labor markets while reinforcing appreciation for existing team members. As Marketing Manager, I led the concept, design, and execution of this program to support hiring outcomes through clear, accessible application pathways and consistent in-store presence.

I owned campaign strategy, creative design, vendor coordination, and rollout planning, working closely with operations and leadership to ensure materials were accurate, easy to deploy, and aligned with real staffing conditions at the restaurant level.

Hiring Campaign 3.0

2023

Hiring Campaign 3.0 represented the most refined iteration of the We Appreciate You™ program, informed by performance data and operational feedback from earlier launches. In this phase, I focused on optimizing the call-to-action to reduce friction for applicants and improve accessibility at the point of decision.

Based on proven success with QR codes and text-to-apply functionality, I redesigned campaign materials to eliminate quote-heavy content and prioritize clear application instructions. This allowed for a larger, more prominent QR code and text-to-apply details, ensuring applicants could immediately understand how to apply without additional explanation.

I designed the full suite of campaign assets, including print signage and supporting materials, and coordinated production through local and domestic vendors for the initial bulk rollout. To support long-term usability, I also worked with Vista Corporate Solutions to make campaign materials available through the Vista ProShop, allowing store teams to order one-off replacements as needed without requiring a full reprint.

Featured team members in Hiring Campaign 3.0 were selected from Wendy’s Top 200 General Managers, reinforcing credibility and ensuring the campaign highlighted leaders who consistently demonstrated operational excellence and team development.

This iteration emphasized clarity, scalability, and operational sustainability—ensuring the campaign could perform effectively beyond its initial launch.

Hiring Campaign 2.0

2023

Hiring Campaign 2.0 marked the first structured expansion of the We Appreciate You™ concept across multiple locations. In this phase, I focused on establishing a consistent visual system and message framework that could scale while still feeling personal at the store level.

I designed and produced campaign materials featuring a curated group of multi-unit managers, selected to spotlight leadership and reinforce a culture of appreciation. This approach positioned hiring not just as a staffing need, but as an invitation to join teams led by experienced, engaged leaders.

I coordinated print production and distribution for the campaign’s initial rollout and worked with operations to ensure materials were placed effectively within each restaurant environment. This version of the campaign validated the concept and provided the performance and operational insights that informed later refinements in Hiring Campaign 3.0.
